Born on August 21, 1961, David Morales is a Grammy award winner for house music DJ and producer. Hailing from Brooklyn in New York, he has reached international popularity because of his talent of remixing pop music into dance tracks. His remixers can be heard in many clubs around the world. Indeed, when he is treated like a celebrity by party-goers.
His work as a producer started in 1993 with a 110-track album called “The Program”. The single “Gimme Luv” was the most successful single from his first album, under Phonogram Records. After this release, Morales chose to focus on becoming a remixer and DJ. He worked with the biggest names in the industry.
He used a pseudonym “The Face” in 1998. Under this name, “Needin U”, his biggest hit, was released. The record pushed Morales into the mainstream and he became a big success overnight. There are other singles that followed this success. Some of the most notable ones include “Higher” which was co-produced by Albert Cabrera.
